About Davina Shefet

A life dedicated to Art, Beauty & Imagination

Raised between the vibrant light of the South of France and the elegance of Paris, Davina Shefet creates art that reflects the dual influences of these worlds. The luminous colours and ever-present light of Provence, paired with the refinement, beauty, and energy of Paris, infuse her work with a unique sense of balance and richness. Working across varied mediums—acrylics, oils, and more—her pieces blend bold colours, textured layers, and deeply personal narratives.

Inspired by French modern painters, Japanese and Persian art, literature, as well as the intricate beauty of decorative arts, textiles, and antiques, Davina Shefet invites viewers into a vibrant and imaginative world. Themes of love, sisterly bond, and touches of humour run through her work, alongside depictions of beloved animals and the objects she collects and cherishes.

With a background in fashion design, theater, and music—spanning from opera to jazz—her creative journey is multidisciplinary, enriching her art with elements of drama, rhythm, and storytelling. These influences give her paintings a distinctive style, where opulence and intimacy coexist in harmony.

Each piece is a celebration of colour, texture, and imagination, offering an escape into a world that is deeply personal yet endlessly inspiring.
